Our Katherine is a big-hitter and a bit of a tongue twister (it's pronounced shy-blee).
She was born in a crossfire hurricane in a small town called Swift Current, Saskatchewan and grew up in Vancouver. She moved to Toronto after graduating with an Art History Major.
She began her assault on the ad business as a junior exec at BBDO, working on the Chrysler Dealer Network account. From there Katherine stuck it out for 3 years at McCann Erickson working on Goodyear Tires and Auto Service. This account followed her to Due North Communications.
In 1996 she went to Ogilvy, juggling Eaton, Unilever, Nestle, Air Miles and Amex. In 2005 Ogilvy shipped her to London to take on the role of CSD EMEA then as American Express, International CSD for Charge Card communications strategy on the Black, Platinum, Gold and Green Cards.
Katherine has a husband and three children. She likes skiing, cooking, living near Richmond Park and walking to work. (We like to keep a tight rein on expenses at Them.)
Being from Canada, Katherine is not a proper American.
